Friday evening saw the official reopening Weaponness House (also formerly known as Bankory and Armstrong). The modern Sixth Form boarding house for boys and girls looks stunning and it was wonderful to welcome back so many former house parents including Mrs More, Mrs Lucas, Mr Gilbert, and Mr & Mrs Precious.
The official opening was performed by the Mayor of the Borough of Scarborough Cllr Mrs Hazel Lynskey accompanied by the Chair of the Board of Governors, Dr John Renshaw. Visitors had a tour of the building conducted by students and everyone was impressed by the quality of the redevelopment and new build.
