Following in the footsteps of many notable former Presidents since the OSA was formed on the 18th July 1908 is a daunting task and one that should never be taken lightly. It is both an honour and a privilege to lead this thriving Organisation.

Like the Phoenix rising from the ashes, I am delighted to welcome you to our new website which has been designed to be a communication portal for all former Students of Scarborough College. Whilst Social media may have overtaken the use of websites, it is impossible to post the depth of information we have, across those channels.

We have also provided an “Archives Section” which we are sure will provide great interest to all former Students. There is a variety of information and photographs from the past and this will continue to develop over the coming years.

None of this work could have been provided without a great team of people behind me. The Committee work tirelessly on your behalf to provide information and events which I know are enjoyed by many.

Times change and my era will hold different memories to yours. But, we share a common theme in that one of the main functions of the OSA is to provide a means whereby former Students can support the College. I know from experience that as we leave and start to develop our own careers, it is easy to forget perhaps what our time at Scarborough College provided in shaping our abilities to succeed in the World. Whilst circumstances today may prohibit your direct involvement in the OSA I sincerely hope you will support your OSA by attending events we run to ensure our future is secure.

Finally, can I please ask you to look at our 300 Club on the OSA website where you will find a superb initiative to allow the OSA to support the College.
